Justin Levine, MS, MBA, CMPC
Justin has a master’s degree in Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology from Barry University. Over the last few years, he was a primary consultant for the Barry University baseball team. In addition, he worked as a freelance mental performance coach for a variety of athletes. His clientele has consisted of youth to collegiate athletes in several sports including baseball, softball, basketball, hockey, jiu jitsu, and more.
Justin was a multi-sport athlete in high school who played baseball and volleyball. However, in the spring of his junior year, he suffered his first of three concussions that would all take place prior to graduation. These injuries caused Justin to miss most of that baseball season and all the ensuing volleyball season. This experience led to doubts if he would ever be able to play sports again or make an impact in the field. Due to this life experience, Justin desired to help others that may face similar obstacles. Whether it be injury recovery, self-doubt, or motivation, Justin is determined to help his athletes be their best self between the ears, so that they can be their best self on the playing field.
Justin is a Certified Mental Performance Coach per the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. To attain this certification, Justin needed to complete 400 counseling hours with athletes and pass the AASP certification exam. CMPC Certification signifies years of successful development of the training and skills required to be a mental performance professional. For context, CMPC Certification is a prerequisite to being placed on the USOC registry that allows mental performance consultants to work with U.S. Olympic athletes and teams
